D-Storm™ 980nm Diode Dental Laser

D-Storm™ by Light Instruments is a next generation 980nm diode dental laser engineered for precision soft tissue surgery and photobiomodulation.

Its proprietary internal diode configuration and unique base design optimize energy stability and thermal control. Combined with super short pulse technology, D-Storm enables smooth, controlled cutting with significantly reduced carbonization and minimal collateral thermal damage.

The 980nm wavelength offers strong absorption in hemoglobin and water, providing efficient incision and excellent hemostasis. Clinical applications include gingivectomy, frenectomy, operculectomy, implant uncovering, sulcular decontamination, and adjunctive periodontal therapy.

In addition, D-Storm supports photobiomodulation protocols to promote healing and improve patient comfort, such as TMJ treatments and more.
