Kids Will Cheer: Gramercy Pediatric Dentistry is Here

The reception was warm and welcoming, as guests experienced, first-hand, Gramercy Pediatric Dentistry’s kid-friendly, calming design, when they attended the practice’s grand opening.

Residents and business members, as well as city officials, and friends and family, came out to see the new pediatric clinic in Brooklyn’s trendy Boerum neighborhood and to honor Dr. Jeremy Dixon with an official grand opening celebration.

Gramercy Pediatric Dentistry is Dr. Dixon’s second pediatric dental center. Because he and his staff of ten see kids of varying ages, as well as kids with special needs, it was important that the office design appeal to the senses and needs of a wide spectrum of pediatric patients.

Made in Manhattan

Dr. Jeremy Dixon, along with the staff of Gramercy Pediatric Dentistry and Henry Schein Dental team, celebrate the grand opening of the new practice.

The modern, 1,400 square-foot clinic has a sense of openness and flow that, according to Dr. Dixon, is intended to put patients at ease and enable staff to work more effectively. “We intentionally used a neutral color palate for our dental chairs, cabinetry, and equipment with pops of color throughout the space,” explained Dr. Dixon. “The palate, the curves of the office, glass partitions, and white washed, exposed brick create a bright atmosphere designed to capture children's attention and provide the perfect amount of distraction, to keep patients relaxed and focused.”

Dr. Dixon, whose relationship with Henry Schein began ten years ago with his first clinic in Manhattan, enlisted Chris Regnier, a Henry Schein Equipment Sales Specialist, to help turn his vision into a reality.

“My growth more than doubled after Henry Schein’s help with my Manhattan expansion,” said Dr. Dixon. “Naturally I called on Henry Schein, because of their vast experience setting up dental offices. Chris and his team provided valuable insights into site selection and planning, office design, equipment selection and install, and the overall construction process. Chris is extremely detail-oriented and excellent at follow-through. He headed off potential issues. The entire build out was seamless and completed on time.”

Teamwork Makes the Dream Work

Mr. Regnier’s team included Linda Zalkin, Fields Sales Consultant, and Richard Lippold, Digital Technology Specialist. Mr. Regnier coordinated both the buildout and the open house. “Our team is sensitive to clients’ unique needs,” said Mr. Regnier. “We are experienced handling state-of-the-art dental equipment for X-rays, exam rooms, and patient waiting areas. Our goal is to always offer an environment that enhances patient comfort, health, and overall experience.”

Gramercy Pediatric Dentistry, with its four operatories, was designed with just that in mind. Each is organized, with everything that the doctor and his team need, located out-of-sight, behind the patients, noted Mr. Regnier.

Brooklyn’s Gramercy Pediatric Dentistry is just what the doctor ordered. According to Dr. Dixon, the brand is all about keeping visits stress-free. “Clinically, our team works hard to create that environment,” said Dr. Dixon. “We are a one-stop shop, trained and equipped to handle hospital-based dental and orthodontic procedures, regardless of complexity or patient behavioral issues.”
